EXPIRED!
SPOTTER ACTIVATION REQUESTED
National Weather Service, Seattle WA
Nov 28, 2014 4:37PM
There is a threat of heavy snowfall in your area. Now is a good time to make sure you have your weather reporting criteria information available. If possible, you should also have your spotter identification number available.
Please call the National Weather Service at (800) 882-1431 if you observe weather conditions that meet reporting criteria.
Most areas of western Washington will see an inch or less of now from tonight through Saturday morning. 1 to 3 inches is possible in northern Puget Sound Region (King, Snohomish, Island, Kitsap) and areas along the Strait of Juan De Fuca (Clallam and Jefferson). If you get snow that sticks, and it measures 0.1 or more, give us a call!
Also, it will be very windy in western Whatcom county and San Juan county. If you get sustained winds of 40+ mph, or gusts 58+ mph, give us a call!
Thank you for volunteering to be a spotter for the National Weather Service. Your information is quite important to us during significant weather events.
